Our Club's Goals

PURPOSE

The purpose of the Barley House Wolves Hurling Team is to:

1. Have fun and enjoy the sport of Hurling

2. Develop the sport of Hurling in Northern New England

3. Provide an athletic activity for military servicemen and their friends in a unique sport

PROJECTS and GOALS

Short term:

1. Acquire a set of team owned helmets to provide for player safety.

2. Play a minimum of five games in the 2008 season.

3. Increase sponsorship to prevent cost from prohibiting any players' participation

4. Participate in at least one parade plus at least one festival to increase team visibility

Long term:

1. Initiate and assist in development of a new Junior C Hurling club in Northern New England.

2. Expand the Wolves to include a camogie team in the organization.

3. Plan, publicize and host a Hurling Clinic for all interested people to increase awareness of Hurling in New Hampshire.

4. Continue to have fun competing at the national level.
