Motto

"Bona Na Croin" translates to "No Collar, No Crown" and represents men who would be neither slaves nor subjects.

Crest

The Wolf represents the Army unit, C/3-172 Infantry (Mountain), from which the team originated.  The broken collar and shattered crown represent the motto Bona Na Croin.  The nine stars represent New Hampshire, the ninth state to join the Union.  The color Blue represents the Infantry, and the color gray represents New Hampshire granite.
